According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending August 18, speculators increased their net short positions in 10-year U.S. Treasury futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) by 31,908 contracts to 946,961 contracts. Speculators also decreased their net short positions in 2-year U.S. Treasury futures on the CBOT by 93,706 contracts to 927,337 contracts.
