The second World Humanoid Robot Games opened today at Beijing’s National Speed
Skating Oval, featuring 51 events and 1,301 matches. The meet runs five days
across nine competition units, up from three days and six units in the inaugural
edition, and includes 30 competitive events and 21 real-world scenarios
challenges. The event attracted 666 teams from 16 countries across six
continents and 2,056 robots; team entries rose 138% YoY and robot numbers
quadrupled.
