Canada's largest private‑sector union Unifor said it has reached a tentative
agreement with General Motors (GM.N). The pact, subject to member ratification,
is expected to cover wages, job security, plant capacity allocation and labor
rights for electric-vehicle roles. The final outcome could materially affect
labor standards in the Canadian auto sector and GM's production footprint in
Canada.
