Ship-tracking firm Kpler said fewer than 20 vessels transited the Strait of
Hormuz over the weekend, with 13 transits on Saturday and four on Sunday. Actual
traffic may be higher because some ships may have switched off AIS transponders.
U.S. and Iranian blockade measures continue to restrict passage through the
energy-critical chokepoint.
