At the morning close, China's most-active futures were mostly higher. Container
shipping on the Europe route jumped over 7%; ethylene glycol (EG) rose more than
5%; coke gained nearly 4%. Coking coal, lithium carbonate, caustic soda and
Shanghai gold were up about 3%; soda ash and glass rose over 2%. Lagging were
apples and polysilicon, down about 2%; rapeseed and live hogs fell more than 1%;
p-xylene, rapeseed oil and PTA slipped about 1%.
