At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with container shipping to Europe up over 7%, ethylene glycol (EG) up over 5%, coking coal up nearly 4%, coking coal, lithium carbonate, caustic soda, and gold futures up nearly 3%, and soda ash and glass up over 2%. On the downside, apples and polysilicon fell nearly 2%, rapeseed and live pigs fell over 1%, and paraxylene, rapeseed oil, and PTA fell nearly 1%.
