According to Saudi media outlet Alhadath, citing a senior Israeli military official, the security situation in the West Bank differs from that in Gaza and Lebanon because there is no clear border demarcation. The official pointed out that the Israeli leadership lacks understanding of the nature and composition of the West Bank, and the current situation suggests that an outbreak whose consequences cannot be controlled at the security level seems inevitable. The official added that the number of points of conflict in the West Bank has increased from 200 to 400, and Israel cannot deploy troops around more than 400 strongholds and settlements; this increase in points of conflict is draining the Israeli military's capabilities.
