UK prime minister Burnham said he and other European leaders plan to travel to
the United States in September to press President Trump to release part of the
US Patriot air-defence missile inventory to Ukraine before winter. Speaking in
Kyiv on Monday evening, Burnham said the trip, timed to the UN General Assembly
in New York, is not yet finalized but is likely and that recent talks clarified
his agenda for the coming weeks.
