At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with ethylene glycol (EG) and asphalt rising nearly 3%, short fiber, paraxylene, and fuel oil rising nearly 2%, and TSR20 rubber, bottled chips, propylene, gold, platinum, PTA, BR rubber, coking coal, and methanol rising over 1%. On the downside, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and eggs fell over 2%, apples, SC crude oil, rapeseed oil, and soybean meal fell over 1%, and palm oil and pulp fell nearly 1%.
