On August 24, Sinochem International's EMA (ethylene-maleic anhydride copolymer)
unit completed full-line commissioning and rolled out its first batch of
qualified product. The facility is China's first industrial EMA plant with
wholly independent intellectual property, breaking long-standing overseas
control of core production technology and filling a domestic supply gap.
