At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with lithium carbonate falling over 5%, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) falling nearly 3%, and container shipping to Europe, coking coal, red dates, soda ash, Shanghai silver, and eggs all falling over 2%. On the upside, fuel oil, ethylene glycol (EG), paraxylene, benzene, styrene (EB), and bottled chips rose over 2%, while methanol and asphalt rose nearly 2%.
