The Department of Homeland Security said an Army sergeant's wife was deported to
Honduras on Monday, the latest case tied to the Trump administration's
immigration enforcement. DHS identified the service member as Sgt. Heddar Leonel
Tursios Juarez. According to AP data, this is at least the seventh description
of a spouse or parent of an active-duty US service member under the current
enforcement actions. ABC reported Tursios Juarez served a nine-month deployment
in the Middle East after enlisting and became a US citizen in 2024.
