Vice Finance Minister Lin Zechang told the NPC Standing Committee that budget
execution and fiscal operations have been broadly stable this year. He said next
fiscal priorities are precise, effective implementation of a more proactive,
targeted fiscal policy; accelerated build-out of a modern industrial system;
safeguarding and improving livelihoods; stronger prevention and resolution of
risks in key areas; continued fiscal management reform; and enhanced penetrating
fiscal supervision.
