Axios reports Cisco (CSCO.O) is partnering with Supermicro (SMCI.O) to add
high-performance AI servers to its NVIDIA-backed infrastructure portfolio,
extending beyond networking to sell more AI compute hardware. Cisco says the
deal will add high-density liquid-cooled and air-cooled systems to its Secure AI
Factory solution. Cisco says it is stepping up AI infrastructure efforts,
betting compute demand will not slow in the foreseeable future.
