Aug 20, 2026 — Shenzhen-based UBTECH Robotics signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) at the World Robot Conference in Beijing. The non-binding MoU commits both parties to integrate UBTECH’s embodied-intelligence robot technology with Singtel’s communications and service capabilities to develop and scale enterprise-grade robot solutions for corporate operational scenarios and large-scale deployment.

[DCE Adjusts Price Limits and Margin Requirements for Log and Other Futures Contracts] The Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) announced that, effective from the settlement on August 27, 2026 (Thursday), the price limit for log futures contracts will be adjusted from 6% to 5%, and the margin requirement will be adjusted from 8% to 6%; the margin requirement for fiberboard futures contracts will be adjusted from 10% to 8%; and the margin requirement for plywood futures contracts will be adjusted from 15% to 8%.
