Honda is considering building a new plant in the United States as it expands gasoline-electric hybrid production. After canceling three battery-electric models planned for the US earlier this year, the automaker plans to roll out 15 new hybrid models by March 2030, primarily for North America. An executive vice president said Honda needs additional capacity to meet demand and that the next factory should be in North America.
