An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the US's so‑called 'economic
D‑Day' forces every bank, company, port and government to choose between obeying
Washington or facing US retaliation, amounting to a systemic assault on the
international order. The spokesperson said the measure destroys core rules of
international law and the UN Charter on sovereign equality and
self-determination, warned no sovereign state would accept normalization of such
illegal, systemic bullying, and said Canada is among the countries already
learn this lesson.
