Iran vice president Mohammad-Reza Aref said Tehran’s control of the Strait of
Hormuz “is our legitimate sovereign right over national assets,” calling the
strait “Iranian property.” He added Tehran is “fully prepared to confront
enemies” and will make “any enemy who dares to threaten Iran” regret it, ISNA
reported.
