establishing an institutionalized two‑way exchange platform between the Chinese
Communist Party and the Kuomintang drew about 1,000 cross‑Strait figures and
youth representatives. Forum discussions focused on emerging technology, Chinese
culture and youth exchanges; delegations will visit Shanghai and Zhejiang. The
office said it will invite more Taiwanese groups to the mainland and encouraged
Taiwanese youth to visit, framing the initiative as supporting peaceful,
integrated cross‑Strait development.
