argument, saying Lai has promoted "resisting unification by force" and stoked
anti‑China sentiment. Zhang warned this pushes cross‑strait ties toward military
risk, said unification is an unstoppable trend and that attempts to "seek
independence by force" will accelerate their demise, and urged Taiwan residents
to reject separatism to safeguard their security and cross‑strait stability.
