China's National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration said the 11th APEC
Food Security Ministerial met on Aug 25 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The meeting
adopted a principles document urging economies to deploy innovation and
artificial intelligence and other digital technologies across the full
food‑system value chain to strengthen decision‑making, connectivity and response
speed, and to better anticipate risks, absorb shocks, adapt, restore production
capacity and improve operational efficiency and overall effectiveness.
