The State Administration for Market Regulation has approved and issued a
national standard titled Basic Requirements for Socialized Medical Accompaniment
Services to tackle blurred service boundaries and uneven quality in
accommodation offerings. The standard establishes a service framework covering
providers, service supplies, platforms, personnel, service scope and content,
operational processes, and service evaluation and improvement.
