At a State Council Information Office briefing on executing the 15th Five‑Year
Planning and accelerating new industrialization, Vice Minister Xin Guobin said the
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will raise NEV product quality,
support key firms’ technology R&D, and continue improving power‑battery
low‑temperature performance and durability as well as autonomous‑driving safety
and reliability. He said authorities will actively but prudently push forward
smart connected vehicle market access and on‑road trial schemes and
vehicle‑road‑cloud integration pilots to deliver greener, more intelligent smart
connected NEVs to consumers.
