At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with paraxylene, methanol, propylene, and ethylene glycol (EG) hitting their daily limit down. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) fell nearly 9%, fuel oil fell nearly 8%, SC crude oil fell nearly 6%, and synthetic rubber, benzene, container shipping to Europe, PTA, polypropylene, and bottled chips fell more than 5%. On the upside, rapeseed meal rose more than 3%, soybean meal rose more than 2%, and soybean meal rose nearly 2%.
