Saudi Arabia has shifted crude export routing back to Persian Gulf terminals after Houthi threats to Red Sea shipments. Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite imagery show roughly 7.0 mln barrels loading at Ras Tanura across multiple berths on Tuesday, with four tankers alongside at Ras Tanura and Ju'aymah — the largest concentration since a late-June loading spike tied to a brief US‑Iran truce. Traders have tracked Saudi flows closely since the end-February outbreak of the Iran war; Riyadh had moved supplies to Red Sea port Yanbu after the conflict began, but a Houthi-declared blockade of Saudi shipping last month prompted the latest routing adjustment.
