Apple (AAPL.O) will hold its biggest product launch event of the year at its Cupertino headquarters at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on September 9th (1:00 AM Beijing Time the following day). This will be John Tenus's first major product launch since becoming CEO. Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, roughly the size of a standard passport, with a screen size close to a small iPad when unfolded. This will be the biggest change in the iPhone's appearance in nearly 20 years. Apple also plans to release the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, featuring a faster chip, improved battery life, and a significantly upgraded camera; at least the larger model will have a mechanical aperture. The second-generation iPhone Air and the standard iPhone 18 will be delayed until next spring. A new Apple Watch may also be unveiled at the same time. Outgoing CEO Tim Cook will remain as executive chairman.
