First Securities Investment Trust, which manages approximately NT$240 billion (US$7.55 billion) in client assets, stated that the Taiwan stock market is expected to continue its upward trend, driven by factors such as strong corporate profit growth and Taiwan's core position in Nvidia's supply chain.
1. First Securities Investment Trust predicts that the Taiwan Weighted Index will surpass 50,000 points by the end of this year. The firm believes that strong corporate profit growth in Taiwan, coupled with Taiwan's important role in Nvidia's supply chain, will continue to support the Taiwan stock market.
2. Regarding US monetary policy, First Securities Investment Trust expects the Federal Reserve not to raise interest rates for the remainder of 2026, as US inflation is likely to gradually stabilize.
3. First Securities Investment Trust also predicts that capital expenditures by the four major cloud service providers (CSPs), including Amazon and Google, will continue to grow significantly, reaching US$2.3 trillion by 2030, far exceeding the estimated US$700 billion for 2026.
4. In addition, First Securities Investment Trust plans to launch a new fund next month, aiming to raise NT$5 billion to NT$6 billion, with investments covering global assets.
