At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Ethylene glycol (EG) fell over 4%, soda ash and caustic soda fell over 2%, bottled PET chips, methanol, and stainless steel (SS) fell nearly 2%, and platinum, tin, alumina, staple fiber, palladium, and rapeseed fell over 1%. On the upside, rapeseed meal rose nearly 3%, soybean meal, soybean meal, synthetic rubber, and SC crude oil rose over 2%, coking coal rose nearly 2%, and rubber and ferrosilicon rose over 1%.
