Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Aug. 25 at an event in the
Israeli-occupied West Bank that a diplomatic agreement between the United States
and Iran is impossible. He said talks with US President Trump had focused on
three options — reaching a deal, military strike, or tightening a blockade — and
that the US had chosen to further tighten the blockade on Iran and its proxies.
Netanyahu added that multi-front security challenges in the Middle East persist
and that Israel will continue related military and security operations.
