The Shanghai Science and Technology Commission released the application guidelines for the 2026 Key Technology R&D Program "Intelligent Computing Optical Network" next-generation optical communication technology project. Projects that pass the review and are approved will have milestone indicators set. 40% of the fiscal funds will be allocated when the project starts, 40% of the fiscal funds will be allocated after the milestone indicators are completed, and 20% of the fiscal funds will be allocated after all assessment indicators are completed.
