Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said France and Britain
supplying sensitive missile technology to Ukraine is "playing with fire" and
could have unpredictable consequences for Paris and London. Her comments follow
UK and French pledges to provide classified technology and speed up air-defence
missile deliveries: Britain will allow Kyiv access to classified material to
begin indigenous production of the Storm Shadow long-range cruise missile,
capable of striking deep inside Russia, and France has authorized Ukrainian use
of related European missile technology. RIA quoted the foreign ministry saying
Russia may respond to attacks by Ukrainian forces using British weapons by
targeting British military assets in Ukraine and abroad.
