Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence agency said analysis of political, economic, social and military trends over the past 60 days shows adversaries increasingly using cognitive and intelligence warfare to recalibrate strategy toward Iran. It said tactics include downplaying the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, weakening the influence of the Resistance Front, intensifying efforts to impose a maritime blockade on Iran, and amplifying domestic divisions, economic vulnerabilities and social discontent to erode internal cohesion. The agency said Iran is boosting national resilience, retaining asymmetric combat capabilities, continuing to assert control over the Strait of Hormuz, and moving from reactive defense to seeking greater strategy initiative.
