On August 27 Levitt completed her final day as White House press secretary and
told reporters she will not miss the role. She said briefings and TV appearances
made up about 10% of the job, while roughly 90% involved answering calls from
about 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Levitt described her departure as bittersweet and said
she is leaving to spend more time with family. No successor has been announced;
Trump said he has received many applications.
