US Perspective: US Central Command: In the past few months, the US military has assisted more than 1,500 ships in transiting the Strait of Hormuz, transporting more than 750 million barrels of oil. US Treasury Secretary Bessant: Blockade and economic isolation will destroy Iran's already collapsing economy. In the past 14 days, the US has diverted 130 million barrels of oil out of the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran's crude oil exports have been zero. US Energy Secretary Wright: On August 25, the US military assisted in transporting more than 15 million barrels of oil and its products out of the Strait of Hormuz. Including pipelines, the total amount leaving the region is close to 20 million barrels. The seven-day average export volume of oil from the Strait of Hormuz exceeds 8 million barrels per day. 2. Iranian Perspective: An advisor to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf stated that the total amount of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz does not even reach 1 million barrels per day. 3.
