Ukraine said it struck one of Russia's largest fuel-production hubs, the Yaroslavl refinery. The attack, the latest in a series, has triggered a fresh round of gasoline shortages across Russia. The Ukrainian General Staff said a nighttime strike caused a fire at the Yanos refinery about 280 km northeast of Moscow (175 miles) and damage is being assessed. Yaroslavl region governor Mikhail Yevrayev said 67 drones involved in a separate morning attack were destroyed but debris fell on industrial infrastructure, residential and commercial sites; he said fires were being rapidly extinguished and gave no further details.
