if it speaks in line with Lebanon’s position and focuses on resolving the issue.
Officials are trying to remove the "weapons issue" as a pretext; a Hezbollah
refusal would force it to answer to the Lebanese public and its supporters. The
international community broadly views Hezbollah as unable to be disarmed by
force or in the short term.
