At an Aug. 27 results briefing, Sanhua Intelligent Controls said 1H 2026 saw the biomimetic robot sector shift from technical validation toward industrial deployment, with advances in embodied intelligence driving pilot applications in manufacturing, logistics and inspection. The industry is raising requirements for perception, actuation and thermal management. Sanhua said its biomimetic robot mechatronic actuators have won positive customer feedback; product development has progressed, core products are moving into volume deliveries and production ramp-up, and the firm is pursuing new-product development and market rollout.

Media reported Beijing’s first humanoid-robot data training center recently ceased operations; Ruierman Intelligent — provider of the center’s core equipment and technology — confirmed the closure and called it a proactive upgrade from data-collection 1.0 to 2.0. The Beijing site used centralized, lab-style deployments to validate scenario data. Ruierman said embodied-intelligence models require real-world data, and the company has shifted focus to a Changzhou embodied-intelligence data experimental platform (data-collection 2.0): deploying 150 RealBOT units covering more than 1,000 real operational tasks and using the GLN remote-operation network to scale robots deployments into factories and warehouses to collect on-the-job data.
