Iranian President Peskov stated that Iran's imports and exports have declined by 25% to 35%, with imports experiencing a larger drop. For anyone familiar with economics, what this means is obvious. I don't want to elaborate, but when someone says "sanctions have no effect," I really don't know what to say—reason is a good thing. For the remainder of this government's term, foreign policy priorities are: easing tensions, developing relations with Eastern countries, and lifting sanctions. If sanctions continue, prices will continue to rise. Previously, importers transported goods by sea at lower costs; now they have to take detours, resulting in higher procurement and transportation costs.
