Iranian foreign minister Araghchi wrote that Iranian intelligence shows some
individuals inside the US government are heavily manipulating energy markets,
using credulous media to move prices for personal gain and to keep the US
president further embroidered in what he described as a doomed war. He said
figures aligned with Israel are issuing optimistic assessments to promote the
conflict and warned that US consumers will bear the ultimate cost.
