Hamas condemned a raid on a detention block holding Palestinian women by
far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, calling the action "moral
depravity". In a statement, Hamas warned that continued transformation of
occupation prisons into sites of arbitrary assault, humiliation, threats,
torture and killing would pose serious danger and accused Israeli occupation
leaders of using the suffering of Palestinian male and female prisoners as cheap
election propaganda.
