Morning open: China's front-month commodity futures were mostly higher. Shanghai
crude (SC) rose over 4%; LPG, palladium, PVC and coking coal climbed more than
3%; lithium carbonate, glass, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), aluminum and soda ash
gained over 2%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 3% and Shanghai gold
more than 2%; container freight to Europe slipped nearly 2%; Shanghai tin,
Shanghai nickel and polysilicon dropped over 1%.
