At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) up over 7%, SC crude oil and coking coal up over 6%, and methanol, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and ethylene glycol (EG) hitting their daily limit. Propylene rose nearly 6%, and polypropylene rose over 5%. On the downside, silver fell nearly 4%, gold fell over 3%, platinum and polysilicon fell over 2%, and nickel, tin, and cotton yarn fell over 1%.
