Al Jazeera, citing Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), reported Israeli infantry advanced along the west bank of the Litani River while conducting demolitions along the Zawtar al‑Gharbiyeh riverbank. Israeli forces continued shelling residential areas south of the Litani and launched a new incursion into the residential area of Majdal Zoun. Shelling struck Mansouri village in the Tire district and wooded areas near Ayta al‑Jabal and Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district. Fires from the bombardment spread into Haddatha’s residential area and burned nearby olive groves.
