Aug 31 — The Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics at the Chinese Academy of
Sciences and partners launched the Intelligent Chemical Large Model 3.0 Pro,
aimed at shortening the lab-to-production gap in China’s chemical industry. The
system uses a four-layer architecture — large model, agent, specialized skills
and tools, and application scenarios — with the model analyzing chemical
problems (text and images), generating solutions and task plans, and the agent
executing work by breaking tasks into stepwise operations, invoking tools,
validating outputs and iterating adjustments.
