CHINA'S CPU MAKER HAIGUANG said it and Tencent Cloud's open-source Cube Sandbox
project have completed deep joint adaptation and tuning on Haiguang C86 CPUs.
The teams implemented full‑stack hardware‑software co‑optimization — from
application architecture and microservice chains to Linux kernel scheduling —
and said they resolved three key bottlenecks in high‑concurrency MicroVM sandbox
scenarios: scheduling jitter, long‑tail latency and cross‑NUMA memory‑access
latency. HAIGUANG said the work closes a domestic compute performance shortfall
for AI agent sandbox use cases and provides a high‑performance, hardware‑level
secure infrastructure option for government, financial and energy sectors
deployments.
