HKMA: Total deposits at Hong Kong authorized institutions rose 0.9% in July
2026; both HKD and foreign-currency deposits increased 0.9%. Year-to-date
through end-July, total deposits and HKD deposits were up 5.8% and 6.2%
respectively. RMB deposits rose 2.9% in July, totaling 1.1254 trillion yuan at
end-July.
