At the White House on Monday, Trump said about 30 vessels transiting the Strait of
Hormuz each night and that a large volume of oil flows through the chokepoint.
He warned the U.S. may strike Iran, signaling elevated geopolitical risk for oil
markets. He added U.S. interest rates are currently too high and said he
respects Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, who will do what he must.
