Shenzhen published a draft regulation seeking comment on measures to promote the
brain‑computer interface (BCI) industry. The draft directs the municipal
government to coordinate planning of major scientific and health
infrastructure—including brain analysis and brain simulation facilities and a
human brain tissue repository—while reforming infrastructure operations and
improving open‑sharing, evaluation and incentive mechanisms to provide public
services for the BCI sector’s development.
