Ukraine's State Emergency Service said Russian forces struck Kyiv on Sept. 1,
killing eight and injuring five, including three children. The agency said the
attacks hit civilian infrastructure and residential areas: two fires broke out
in Darnytskyi district; a non-residential building in Holosiivskyi district
suffered a 40 sq m fire that was extinguished; and a drone struck a residential
block in Solomianskyi district, causing partial damage to the building.
