Iranian Revolutionary Guard: An Indian oil tanker became the target of a strike by U.S. Central Command. The vessel, belonging to an Indian company, had loaded its cargo at a port in the United Arab Emirates. U.S. Central Command used the ship's old name when sending a warning message; therefore, the crew was unaware the message was directed at them and did not respond. Subsequently, U.S. command interpreted this lack of response as a provocation and listed the ship as a target.
